About Lou J. Fuoco, CPA - Fuoco Group CPAs

Lou Fuoco is Managing Director of Fuoco Group, a multi-office, multi-state full service accounting and consulting firm providing expert assurance services, accounting, strategic advisory services, estate and trust accounting, tax planning and preparation, litigation support, and forensic and fraud auditing services.

Lou founded Fuoco Group, LLP in 2003 the offspring of Fuoco & Associates, which was born in 1996. Over the years, he has held a series of leadership positions throughout Fuoco Group. Prior to Fuoco & Associates Lou was a shareholder and Vice President of DeSoiza & Fuoco.

Lou was appointed Managing Director of Fuoco Group in 2003 for offices in NYC, Long Island and N. Palm Beach. As Managing Director, Lou sets a clear and strong tone from the top, focused on quality, integrity, and professionalism. He has worked to create a high-performance work environment with a highly visible leadership commitment to “Follow Our Lead”.

Lou is actively engaged as an accountant and business advisor to many clients’ in addition to overseeing the Firm’s practice and business development strategic alliances, planning and systems implementation.

Throughout his career, Lou has actively supported numerous civic, cultural and business organizations. He is a Board and Committee Member of Archbishop Molloy High School. He is on the Board as well as a recognized Gold Shield Member for the Suffolk County Police Reserves. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts, New York State Society of Certified Public Accounts, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and a member of the Construction Financial Management Association. Lou also is actively engaged with Enterprise Network Worldwide, Chartered Accountants and Certified Public Accounts Committee Member, Family Service League.

Lou holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Major in Accounting from St. John’s University in Queens, NY. He is also a proud alumnus of Archbishop Molloy High School. In addition Lou has successfully completed a set of examinations with the National Association of Securities Dealers to earn his Series 6 & 63 licenses. Lou is also a licensed Health & Life Insurance agent with the State of New York.
