Joseph P. Manzelli Jr. is one of the equity directors of this full-service accounting firm, which represents hundreds of individuals and commercial business interests in all financial and tax matters. He started his career in 1988 working in Manhattan at Goldfinger Fuchs & Lassar before becoming a junior partner in a small firm in Mineola, NY, Mark Mandel & Co. CPA’s.
He took a brief detour from accounting in 1999 and 2000 to start a dot.com business, Infinity Adventures, specializing as a search engine for the hunting & fishing industry. He has been a part of the Fuoco Group since 2001. He is also one of the driving forces behind our affiliated technology company, TFG Technology Group.

Joe has successfully assisted clients develop long-term business objectives and sound strategies for future growth and success. His involvement includes tax preparation and planning, business advisory services and technology development and implementation. Within the technology arena, Joe has also been involved in the areas of information security and reviews of controls over information. He is currently awaiting for his approval from ISACA of his CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) accreditation.

AICPA’s IT Section

Joe is very active in his community. He is a school board member of the River Dell regional school district. He is a committee member of the non-profit organization, Robert Wright Memorial Foundation, which aids in the fight against ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). He is one of the founding members of the River Dell Lacrosse Association, acting as a director and coach of 3 girls teams. He is also very active in the River Dell Soccer Association , acting as treasurer for the travel division and coaching multiple teams as well as participating in their various fund raising events.

Joe is a graduate of Ithaca College in 1987 and is a proud alumnus of Liverpool High School (Liverpool, NY). In addition to attaining his Certified Public Accountancy license early in his career, Joe has also obtained the AICPA accreditation of CITP (Certified Information Technology Professional) of which there are only about 1,100 individuals with this accreditation nationwide.

In his spare time, Joe manages to help his wife, Tybe, raise their 5 daughters.
