Barry S. Krostich is a Director of Fuoco Group, LLP, a, multi-state full service accounting and consulting firm with offices on Long Island, New York City and South Florida. Fuoco Group provides expert assurance services, accounting, strategic advisory services, estate and trust accounting, tax planning and preparation. They also provide litigation support, as well as forensic and fraud auditing services.

Barry received his Bachelors degree from the State University of New York at Albany in 1980. He began his career in public accounting with a mid-sized, Long Island based CPA firm. In 1985 he joined his family’s accounting practice (founded by his father and grandfather). Barry became a partner in Krostich & Krostich on January 1, 1992.

In January 2009, Barry was appointed as a Director of the Fuoco Group, LLP after the firm Krostich & Krostich, LLP merged into the Fuoco Group. Barry brings 30 years of accounting and financial experience to his clientele.  He maintains a hands on full service approach with every client. This has been his philosophy since he began his accounting career.

As a result, Barry just doesn’t look at the numbers of an organization but at the underlying drivers of those numbers and is able to assist his clients to increase profitability by streamlining costs and improving efficiencies. His many long-term clients and his role as Trusted Advisor to them, demonstrate his success. It is true that in many instances he is hired to perform accounting functions for a business but soon after he is performing a whole range of services for the principals of the business such as estate planning, succession planning, insurance reviews, pension reviews, etc. His clients over the years have included medical practices, not-for-profits, wholesale distributers, linen services as well as many other closely held family owned businesses. He has been retained as a business consultant, auditor, accountant, financial and tax planner.

Throughout his career, Barry has actively supported numerous civic, cultural and business organizations.  He is a member of the American Institute of CPA's (AICPA), the New York State Society of CPA's (NYSSCPA) and the National Conference of CPA Practitioners (NCCPAP). Barry formerly served as Treasurer and Cub Master of Cub Scout Pack 329 in Commack, NY.
